Paris에서 느낀 감동과 생각과 삶의 의미를 회화로 표현한
작품들을 가슴에 부여안고 한국에 왔습니다.
이 작품들이 약 한 달간 펼쳐져,
많은 분들과 침묵의 소통을 하고자 합니다.
저의 작품의 근간을 이루는 것은
"소망의 씨앗/ The Seed of Hope"입니다.

NASA미우주항공우주국의 한 연구박사가 발굴한 3천년 전의 미이라 손아귀에
꽉 쥐어져 있던 작은 씨앗을 땅에 심어보았더니
싹이 나고 잎이 자라났던 일을 기억합니다.

하나의 씨앗은 제아무리 좋은 열매를 맺는 나무라 하더라도
땅에 떨어져 심겨지지 않으면 그것은 이미
죽은 나무입니다.
어떤 씨앗을 막론하고, 그것이 손에
쥐어진 채, 땅에 뿌려지지 않으면
그 열매를 맺을 수 없을 것입니다.
진정으로 살아있다 함은,
죽어있는 듯한 고요 속에서
산 생명을 끄집어내는
경이로운 일인 것입니다.

저는 그것을 그렸습니다.
살아있는 생명!
그것을 말입니다.

함께 삶을 나누며,
아름답고 가치있게 사는 것이
무엇인지를 나누고 싶습니다.

• Artist's Statement

The works of art are the form of crystal notion(idee) which is being endowed as itself.
In this 21st century, rapid advance to the media and informational technologies are undergoing complete change the environment which transfigures the existence and the state of the fine arts today as well.

The traditional plane surface paintings are being changed as distinguished form of more new pattern and the features in form of the variant (hybrid) combining to the new aesthetic forms as three-dimensional work, and video art and so on.
I try to seek for the essence of art and the meaning of arts through the experience recognition which are obtained from my ordinary life and intend to express as my essential philosophy to my arts by the visual experiences and a memory rather than depending on the generalized high-technologies.

To me it is, the essence of art is life itself and generates from the recognition which is nothing but an eruption of emotion combined with logos and pathos psychologically jointing to sentiment and sensitivity as it fruits of the trace of life and sustaining activities.

My interest is to attempt to the aesthetics interpretation how even the way of existence for the unspecific living species which are scattered to the eternal endless world and of the smallness lifestyle.

I would like to arouse sympathy to all people cognize for the new vision of immense cosmos through approaching to all creatures by the way of micro or macro prospects and my awakeness reflected in my art works on the mystic this profound world.

• INTENTION

L'art est l'état final de l'idée qui vit en lui-même.
Le progrès rapide des médias nous offre l'existence de l'art contemporain et l'atmosphère qui modifie l'aspect de ce dernier.

Par exemple, la peinture traditionnelle du passé a subi "une sorte d'hybridation" en se mêlant avec l'art tridimensionnel comme l'installation ou bien l'art audiovisuel pour donner un nouveau style qui s'appuie aujourd'jui.

Plutôt que d'aller chercher la nature de mon art dans cette nouvelle tendance, je préfère m'inspirer de mon propre vécu et de ma propre expérience visuelle qui seron les facteurs principaux demes activités professionnelles.

Je pense que la peinture est la vie en elle-même et une forme d’expression!! de notre raison et de notre sensibilité dont le résultat sera la trace et l’acte continu de la vie.
Ce qui m’intéresse, c’est l’interprétation esthétique du moyen de survie des êtres vivants inconnus appartenant à un monde visible et celle du retour à la vie.
J’espère que ma réflexion à travers cette perception de l’univers exprimée sur mes canevas s’accompagnant de joie et de la nature de vie sera transmise aux spectateurs.
